Canon's Brilliance
Canon has been producing DSLR cameras and EOS series for decades. Journalists and photographers all use Canon. In the past, the photography industry was dominated by Canon and Nikon.
The Rise of Sony
Sony originally made card machines, but later developed mirrorless products. Non reflective camera, lightweight, large lens. At first, people thought it was a toy, but later it became more and more professional with the A7 series full frame.
Why can't we fight
Because times have changed. DSLRs are big and heavy, who will carry them when traveling? Micro order is small, just put it in the bag and you can go. And Sony has many lenses, fast autofocus, and good video shooting. Nowadays, young people are buying Sony, while Canon is still making DSLRs and can't keep up with the times.
